We have a 13 year old grandson, and a nine year old grandson in addition to Logan the 5 month old. The nine year old grandson and our son, his dad, live here with us. Dad works nights, so we raise the grandson all week. It has been working for us for over 6 years, and we love our arrangement. We also have the 3 year old granddaughter, Cassandra, who is Logan's sister, and another granddaughter who is seven years old. They all live here in the same town except for the 13 yr old. I started taking care of Cassandra when she was three months old. Had her those wicked hours until my daughter and son in law were both laid off from their jobs for six months. Now it is time to try this again. Too bad, but I am FAR away from Kansas City. We live in Eugene, Oregon! That's a bit much or you could sure come over and do some rockin'! Hope you are o.k. and the Zithromax does its magic for you. Take care of yourself! And, thanks for the encouragement. Love, Sharon > > > > > >
Guest guest
My three absolutely wonderful grandchildren all girls: 12, 8 and 5. The 8 yr old lives about 3 hours away, the 12 yr old lives about 3 miles away and the 5 yr old lives with us about 99% of the time. She had a head cold last week and unfortunately shared some germs with me. I woke up about 3 AM Monday and felt the rattling in my chest so I went to Dr. yesterday morning and sounds like acute bronchitis. Started taking Zithromax and a new inhaler. I feel fine and am glad we caught it soon. Hopefully, it will go away quickly and quietly. I would love to be the hugger and rocker of that 5 month old! I just love rocking babies. How far are you from Kansas City? haha Hope you have lots of " Land Before Time " videos for the 3 yr old. 13 1/2 hours will surely make for a long day. Maybe the 3 yr old can be your pretend doctor and take care of you and your 'baby brother'!!! I'll be thinking of you a lot today. Take care, Re: Grandchildren > > --- wrote: > > SHARON, > > How old are your children? Girls/Boys? > > > > My little granddaughter is 3, and our grandson is 5 > months old today.
