Guest guest
My posts may sound a little impersonal lately and are not too detailed. There was a time when I attempted to answer almost everything. Our list is at the 2500 mark. Usually newcomers are the most active posters and as they get the hang of things don't need to ask as frequently. Although we only have a tiny percentage posting at a given time there can still be up to one hundred posts a day. There was a point at which Jody was carrying most of the load singlehandedly and then took ill for a brief time. Sheila was also sidelined with illness, Mimi was busy researching and attending to her family and I freely admit my area of expertise is not autism, rather regular SCD, recipes and success stories. Lately, fate has smiled upon us with the return of Jody, Sheila, and Patti who was a regular several years ago, as well as Charlene, an eight year veteran. Mimi has resumed making her super contributions in the form of archives, studies and other " must keep, " information. As well some enthusiastic newcomers have gotten right into the thick of it with sharing very useful tips and experiences (and recipes) In view of this, I currently try to wait until I have at least 50 emails and can scan them to see if a question has already been answered. As your healing progresses, we look forward to the time when lurkers will " step up to the plate " to lend additional support. This will make for an even stronger and more informative list. Carol F.
