Guest guest
Why does my son have to be continually occupied while eating, it is such a battle, he needs to be doing something, plying with a toy shaking his pill bottle, paying with food. Nearly every mouth full I have to find something else for him to look at to distract him so he will eat. He has been like this for months now, he is totally gone off breastfeeding now as well so I am expressing and putting it in a bottle, he needs to be watching a video or carried around to drink his bottle as well. This is so frustrating. He is such a cleaver child as well and he is figuring out that when I distract him I shovel in food so even now that is starting to lose its charm. Even when hes not eating he needs to be continually entertained with stimulating stuff, music, video, mummy, noisy toys etc..... I ended up saying I have had enough this morning and I gave him no breakfast and he went to bed without, Mean mother I am. But I battle with this 3 times a day and I've had enough. On a better note Liam is now up to 22 pounds (10.36 kg) he is 12 months old. He put on 1 kg (2.2 pounds in 3 weeks) WOWOWOWO I have been giving him maltodextrin, a high carbohydrate powder. Certainly did the trick. mum to Liam 1 wcf
