Guest guest
Dear Shirley, Thank you for your sweet and understanding post. Yes, the pain was quite immobilizing. All my recent lab panels and a complete CBC done only a week ago were perfectly fine. Hard to believe with someone with so many problems, but true, and my doctor was pleased. I've also had recent films done of my liver and gall bladder, both look great. I think it's just that those sneaky pancreatic pseudocysts! The first night I did actually forget to take my enzymes, but discovered this half way through the meal and took them then. And last night, I took them before I ate, with the same startling results. As before, I woke up this morning feeling wonderful, no pain or discomfort, and well rested. We will see. I'm a little scared now to eat, and go through this whole thing again, but know that I have to! I have lost more weight, and weighed in at 107 yesterday. This puts me in the size " 0-1 " range, and I have only a few winter things in that size that I can wear, and it's been getting downright COLD down here in the South! It's amazing that you were able to endure the pain of CP without meds. I wanted to be that way myself, but within just a few months I was forced to change my way of thinking. There is no question that the medication is the one thing that makes a normal life possible.......sometimes! I couldn't function without it now. I hope you are having a great day. So far, I am, too!
