Guest guest
Hello , I'm sorry you're facing a bad week-end. However, I shouldn't doubt your docs too much just at this stage. It is a fact that gall bladder disease, stones etc. are a common cause of pancreatitis. It may be that, if the gall bladder probs can be sorted, the pancreatitis might stop. I know that doesn't always happen but you can but hope! Pancreatitis can sometimes be the first indication of gall bladder probs. Gall bladder probs can cause obstruction or inflammation in the pancreas. Enzymes would be prescribed if it was felt that your pancreas was not producing enough digestive enzymes of its own. If that isn't yet a problem, the docs may decide they're not needed yet. It's something to discuss anyway. I hope things go well and your symptoms stop as soon as poss. With good wishes, Fliss
