Shirley,

Every single attack I ever had was like that..I would double over

with it, no position would relieve it, could barely breathe..and if

i tried to take a deep breath, it would feel like someone was

wringing out my insides like a wet towel...the nausea would have me

constantly at the commode, and my back ached constantly. Sometimes

it would build up to a crescendo, other times it would hit me as

Heidi's had..out of the blue.

Fortunately it has all stopped now. I still have my pancreas, but

not my gall bladder..the duct is managing to stay open thank

goodness.

Hi , sorry to hear you have experienced so much pain too. Did you

have a very hard time breathing? Moving or breathing were the worsed part of

it. No elevated enzymes though. Go figure. Who knows. Love, Shirley

The nurse at s emailed me today; she has before and I told

her what had said and I let her know that I wasn't coming back

to cinci. I had a good feeling about the place and I am very

disappointed. I had stayed so long, each day adding another, the

staff at the hotel got to know me well. It was nice to be greeted

by name when walking into such a nice hotel. I really believed it

would happen and I am tearing up as I speak. Ok, back now.

I would have loved to have met you as well and had your number on

the nightstand to call and i am so sorry I did not. I had quite a

bit to do actually. I also had a lovely time playing tourist too.

Thats good to know about the boys pancreas being sent out. Do you

know if the transplant was successful though? I have been trying to

find info on it and have found lots but not so much in regard to my

condition. A lot with the Juvinile Diabetes Assoc.

I dont want a whipple, and thats that. I dont think it will help

me, just the opposite. knows that, I told him that on the

phone too. I just need to try to regain my faith.

Thank you so much for the supportive thoughts and the info on the

boy, I hope it was successful for him,

Warmly,
