ON THE OTHER SIDE-MICHIGAN

hello everyone. Well we are back at the hotel. Dr. R sprung us this

morning.

If you have ever had a cholesectomy, this is a piece of cake. My

surgery was late yesterday. I was scheduled for 1:30 and did not get

into 3:00.

I came back to my room by, I thnk told me 5:00. I asked her to

keep me walking, and she laughed, but she did.

My case was so uneventful, you cannot believe how easy this was. I

was release this a.m. about 10:00. We had to wait for Dr. R to finish

a case, so he could come talk to me.

When he got to my room, he found the party. Lori, , and Drema

and Vicki, (our spiritual leader).

This is such a wonderful family to be a part of. Everyone is so nice.

Gaylon was released this a.m and Majesky should have

been right after me. They were still running an antibiotic because

of an elevated temp.

A couple of the girls up here had fatty livers. When this happens he

does not bypass quite as much, as the liver cannot handle a rapid

weight loss.

***He told me that I had a beautiful liver***

I asked if that ment he took the extra two feet. haha

We are staying at the Holiday Inn Express $59.00 a night and about 1

1/2 miles from the hospital. Very convienent, and very nice folks

here.

We have a refrigerator and a micro. We have not found any need for a

full kithen unless you want to fry your saltines. haha

If you can get your post meds before you leave. CVS charged me

171.00 for three meds. They would not take an out of state BCBS card.

Eckerds will take them though.

Well buy for now, I want to go check on Drema, so when comes

back from house hunting, we will see how she is doing and post.
