Guest guest
If there was growth I would think that there would have been some improvement. I would look at other options/get a 2nd opinion. I am in Cincinnati and we go to Cincinnati Childrens. I think that would only be ~2hr drive for you. We have a Hnager Cranial Band. My son was in it for 4 weeks and we saw 10mm of improvement. We hopefully have 6 weeks to go. We have been happy with the staff we have worked with. Let me know if you have any questions. Guest guest
the baby has to grow for the band to work. however in 4 weeks you would think he would have grown some. Did they take a circumference measurement? that would have shown if there is any growth. also I usually recommend taking pics every 2 weeks to monitor changes for yourself. I would start looking into other options, since you don't want to waste too much time. My daughter wore her band for 5 mo (a long time) but she had progress at every visit (2 or 3 weeks) and I took pictures so I knew it was working. She had brachy and went from 96% to 85%. -christine sydney, 3 yrs, starband grad > > Sorry for the second post so quickly - wanted to post seperately > since it's a different thread of questioning: > > From previous post: My son, Ian is 8.5 months old and has been > wearing a locally made helmet for about 4.5 weeks for 9mm plagio.
