fyio, I had surgery Aug 16, 2000 we stayed at Hampton Inn on

Hillendale road, durham, nc. for 204.15 for 5 nights. Did you call 1-

877-medstay. They can get the best rates usually. We used

priceline.com and chose the higher end hotel and quote 35 dollars per

night and got the hampton inn. Just a suggestion if your not locked

in on the hotel reservations.

Hi Sleepless in Seattle! That could be your egroups name. lol Thanks

for the kind words. I'm sipping orange/pineapple juice and I think

the headache is easing off. I hope so I had a busy day and I was

really tired when i finally went to bed at 11pm. Maybe my blood sugar

is falling after I go to sleep at night. Are you scheduled for surger

yet?

Sugar seems like not a good thing to ingest before sleep.

I think I'd be more concerned about the headache than the 'wanting' stomach,

I think.

Is the kind of headache you are having the kind you get after you

drastically reduce caffeine consumption?

Is your heart racing? Sweats?

Have you changed your bedtime recently? You might be reacting to the fact

that the operation is over and that stress is gone, kind of like a let-down,

you know?

Wouldn't I make a lousy ER doc?

I am still in the process of completing my packet and waiting to hear from

insurance if they will approve the surgery or not. As I will be coming from

the midwest we will need a hotel and a car rental. Do you mind sharing the

number for the Extended Stay and for Avis. I just want to have them

available when the time comes. Good luck on the 13th - hope it goes well

for you.

Hi Tarri !

I wish you the very best of luck on your journey...I am now down to exactly

9 working days...ehhehee I dont count the weekends...cuz I am busy doing my

stuff and not work stuff ~smile~

Here is the info that I have for the hotel and car rental you requested:

Avis Car rental : 1-

Extended Stay America : 1-

I hope this helps..and btw..I got my cheap airline tickets thru travel.com

and put in my dates and it pulled up all the available stuff. I went to

priceline.com where many say they get great deals, and I under bid the quote

I got by $50.00 and it was turned down, so I went with the bid I got.
