Could someone tell me does this hold true of all of Dr. R.s patients? I have

heard wonderful things about him from a former patient, so this surprised me.

Please let me hear from some of you out there who have been thru the surgery.

This does concern me.

All in all are you satisified with the care and the results of the surgery.

Hi Pat,

I had my surgery on July 31, and Dr. R. came in the morning after my

surgery to discharge me and answer any questions that I had. When I got

home, I developed a rash, and I emailed him daily to let him know what was

happening. He responded every day, and when I asked him if I needed to let

him know every little thing, he wrote back saying that I did need to write

and let him know. I feel bad that Dinah had such a bad experience, but mine

was very good. I am amazed that Dr. R. can find time to treat so many

people. He followed up with me more than I had expected. Good luck with

your journey!

I have not weighed in about a week, I will have my one month check up

this week. I had lost 23 pounds the last time I weighed. I don't feel like

I have lost any more, I think I am stuck here for a while. I will post when

I find out what my one month stats are. And I am feeling terrific! Thanks

Hi Dinah:

I haven't submitted my packet yet they've responded to several inquiries:

are you certain you are sending to the correct address? Maybe there has

been some miscommunication because one of his assistants quit.

Either way, I would be uncomfortable. Send another e-mail and ask for

confirmation of receipt, just so you can be sure if they're ignoring you (a

problem) or that they're not receiving your queries (another problem.)

Were you operated on on the day that he had that unsuccessful four hour

surgery? Jeeze, if the PA didn't know what was going on, that's not a major

confidence builder, is it? So, twelve days later, how are you doing? Still

ransacking the refrigerator (remember that night you were up late and LT and

I were talking with you and you went to the kitchen and...?) Do you

continue to feel good? Are you feeling better and better all the time? If

you could get your questions answered, that is?
