The course will provide an intensive look in occupational and environmental exposures in agricultural production including how those exposures can be prevented, diagnosed, and treated. Topics will include, but not be limited to, respiratory diseases, zoonotic diseases, veterinary biologicals & therapeutic hazards, acute agricultural injuries (and rescue), behavioral health issues, agricultural skin diseases, ergnonomics, selection, fit, and purchase of personal protective equipment, health effects of agricultural pesticides, on-farm safety audits and services for individuals working in agriculture with disabilities.
