It doesn't look like there is much room for the flat spot to grow out. I would definitely check with the orthotist about this. From what I can see it looks like they made the band from a "mold" of your babies head but didn't make is symmetrical for the head to grow into. The bottom back of the band look like it indents where the plagio is... is that correct? " The back of the helmet was slanted in on the right side more to assist with rotation control in much the same may the " sideburns " on the front do. It can be adjusted if too much or too little pressure is being exerted.
