Guest guest
Good question, I can't remember if I asked it when I ordered it! Ack! I'll be calling tomorrow to see if it's in yet, and I'll let you know. Kim - I am confused, what is lema oil? I must have missed your posts on this - not sure how! )O( mama to , 2yo, w/CF, and , 4yo, no CF /Grandmom Bev/Lema oil.../questions for when things calm down on your end. Guest guest
, I can just see you ripping through Wormwood's book looking for Lema Oil! Lema oil is Coast Biological's own formulation of manuka fraction 1 + tea tree. Clever name, eh? They combined the latin names: LEptospermum and MAnuka. Hey, I have a question for you, . Did you ever order Natrol's Kid's Companion Cognitive Formula for ? (Remember we talked about this a while back? Though I think HON has it listed as Kid's Attention Memory Formula.) I've been going through Albion Labs's product page to see if I could find a company that uses Albion's chelated minerals in a kid's liquid formula, and Natrol popped up. Now then, I know that Natrol buys Neuromins DHA and puts the Natrol label on it, and Natrol also buys Albion chelated minerals for use in " some " (not all) of their mineral products. And while the Natrol Kid's Companion Cog Formula has both chelated minerals and DHA, it doesn't specify whether these are Albion chelates and Martek's Neuromins. And we know that any company using Albion chelates or Martek's Neuromins DHA usually always includes it on the label because it's a high-selling feature. Anyway, I put in a call to the company to find out, but had to leave a message for them to call me back. I thought if you had a bottle of this lying around you could check the label. Thanks, Kim P.s. Guess what? I'm breaking the early good news, but I talked to Bev and Lois on Friday and the Florida CF Pharmacy has ordered Solgar's magnesium glycinate! Lois said she wasn't sure when it would arrive but she left word for 3 different people to notify me because we're down to only one bottle. But now we can order thru them intead of HON! And she promised they'd meet or beat HON's price. --- " Arcuri Ware " <mamabear@d...> wrote: Good question, I can't remember if I asked it when I ordered it! Ack! Ah, cool! :-) I remember you talking about manuka...and we all love tea tree...I remember this discussion now, it's all coming back. ;-) Hey, I have a question for you, . Did you ever order Natrol's Kid's Companion Cognitive Formula for ? (Remember we talked about this a while back? Though I think HON has it listed as Kid's Attention Memory Formula.) Yes, I did. Kid's Companion Cognitive Formula is what's on the label. But, it only has 25 mg magnesium and 25 mg DHA per 2 tsp. I was disappointed! I've been going through Albion Labs's product page to see if I could find a company that uses Albion's chelated minerals in a kid's liquid formula, and Natrol popped up. Doesn't say anything about the origin of the minerals or DHA!! I found another product - Natural Factors Learning Factors DHA Rich Oil Blend. It has 400 mg tuna oil, containing 100 mg DHA per 1 tsp, 8 mg EPA per tsp, and 167 mg evening primrose oil containing 17 mg GLA per tsp, and 109 mg cis-linoleic acid per tsp. Overall I thought that was good but wasn't sure about the final verdict on evening primrose oil. I know said it seemed to help Liam. It also has a pretty good lemon-lime flavor!!! But, won't take it!!! Thanks, Kim P.s. Guess what? I'm breaking the early good news, but I talked to Bev and Lois on Friday and the Florida CF Pharmacy has ordered Solgar's magnesium glycinate! I bought cherry syrup and OraPlus suspension liquid but he won't take the crushed Solgar Mg glycinate that way and at this point I'm not pushing it. Guest guest
, Does this product say whether they've tested their tuna oil for mercury levels? That's why I'm so wary of buying products listed as " fish oils. " I know Biltz mentioned this as a concern of hers a long time ago too. Guest guest
Nope, doesn't say. I agree, and was going to call the company - but he won't even look at the stuff. <sigh> Hey, I did find eggs at the store today - each egg has 300 mg of DHA!!!! They are called 4 Grain or something like that, I will have to look. They have tons of vit E too. I am going to try to fry one today so will eat it. He hates them scrambled or hard boiled. )O( mama to , 2yo, w/CF, and , 4yo, no CF Re: /Grandmom Bev/Lema oil.../questions for when things calm down on your end. , Does this product say whether they've tested their tuna oil for mercury levels?
