Guest guest
Hello Donna, My dx of CF was done due pancreatitis. Pancreas problems are quite common in people with CF. CF causes mucus plugs in various organs incl. lungs and pancreas. This condition can leads to pancreatic insufficiency and sometimes chronic pancreatitis. Of course CF is well known for lungs issues, but digestive troubles (not only pancreas) is also a big problem. Bye for now, Liane you wrote: Hi All, I am a little confused on the relationship between pancreatitis and cystic fibrosis. Can anyone give some input on this? I just don't see how they are connected!
