Western NC meeting - update!!

Hi:

One of our group, Lori Hankins, found a place for us to meet in Hickory on

September 9 - the Western Steer. I'm going to call them to make

reservations, and if we have at least 15 people, we can reserve their

conference room. Let's do it!

So: please email me AGAIN to tell me that you're coming, and check in with

any of your MGB buddies who may not read this list on a regular basis. So

far I've heard from:

Margaret Hamilton

Margie Vickers

Lynda

Carolyn Counts

Nan Coulter

Betty Harrill

Cathy Morrow

Kathy Brandeis (sp?)

and Kathy says she has a bunch of names from Dr. R., whom she's trying to

reach.

I'll be posting directions and phone numbers for the Western Steer this week.

Thanks to all of you who have made this meeting happen. I'm sorry to have

gotten behind on organizing this meeting, and in replying to emails from

several of you. I've just finished week 3 of post-op, and my food and I are

not getting along, to put it mildly. If you come to the meeting, I'll tell

you all about it! :-)

Blair, you are the greatest. You are a marvel at getting things done. I

will attend with maybe one member of my family. I have heard from Joette

a month or so ago who lives in Casar, between Hickory and Shelby. I

am going to send her a copy of your last email for her information. She had

surgery I think in December.
