Guest guest
Hey Jerry and others, I don't post a great deal to the board but i do read the posts almost daily as I've had problems since July 2000. I have not been diagnosed w/CP. But I do know that I first got really sick in July, 2000 with some type of an attack. Ultrasound was completely normal and so were my labs. After being sick for 4 or so weeks and losing over 20 lbs they did the nucleur (sp?) scan and my gall bladder never showed up. Report stated that i had indications of cronic and acute gall bladder disease. I do feel if they figured this out in the beginning, I wouldn't have this chronic pain today. I suffer every single day now but don't complain anymore. I have 3 little kids that thought I was dying. I try to function normally day to day but its so hard. Anyway, I was saying that if you guys do have your gall bladders still, its definately a good idea to have the HIDA or nuclear scan to determine the functioning. Ultrasounds of not accurate in my experience. Take care, Tonya
