Update.....First week in Helmet.

Things are going really well. Jake got his helmet last week and we have been

slowly easing him into it. He is now wearing it 22-23 hours a day and is doing

great. He only fusses a little when we take it off and put it back on. He had

one small red spot on the side of his head above his ear that was getting worse

so at the follow up appointment yesterday they took care of it. Again we went to

Hangers office in Farmington CT, it's a great location for us. adjusted

the helmet for the red spot and gave us a few tips on how to get the helmet off

and on a little easier. Again she did not rush us and we left very happy with

the service.

I'm looking forward to the next few weeks. I can't wait to see the change in his

head shape. I will post again after his next appointment on April 7th. They are

going to take measurements at that point, I will let you know what amount of

change has occurred.

Wishing everyone well, Dawn (Mom to Jake, almost 5mo., 1st week in helmet from

Hanger, Living in Connecticut)
