Guest guest
Hi Listmates, I'm giving the no-fenol another try for my son to see if he indeed has phenol/salicylate intolerances. How often should he get this enzyme, any time he eats something? Or just with breakfast and dinner? Any help with this topic is greatly appreciated. ) Tammy
Guest guest
Enzymes work when there is something to " work on " . If you eat a food that is high in phenols and you need the enzyme with the highly phenolic food. Enzymes are not like vitamins that get absorbed into the system and then are ready to be used by the body. Enzymes have to actually come into contact with the food you are wanting to break down. So, if he only eats highly phenolic foods for breakfast and dinner, then that schedule would work. But if he is eating highly phenolic foods for lunch and snacks, then he needs the No Fenol with them. Depending on the amount of food eaten, you might be able to use just 1/2 capsule.
