One of my sisters is a close friend of mine and I can not imagine struggling through what the two of you, and now you, have had to face. Take care of yourself and use your support resources for the long haul of the grieving! I hope that you give yourself plenty of room to continue to deal with the waves of emotions from your loss. It sounds incredibly huge! I send a hug your way, for when you need it. I'm glad to hear that your husband responded so well to the surgery and I'm very glad that you persisted in finding a physician who was willing to pursue this solution. It scares me to know how many times people, who could find relief from their situation, are stopped due to poor advice from physicians. Good for you for being so persistent.
