Thank you to everyone that responded. I just love all the

information here. I have a few other questions so here goes...

I saw on here where BC Pills no longer work to max ability. What

about the Depo-Pravera shot. This is what I currently use and LOVE

it. Does this still work? I also have Poly cystic ovaries that will cause

infertility so I am not overly concerned at this time. My PCP sd there is

treatment for this but he sd not to worry abt it till 18mos after the MGB

when it is ok to think abt getting preggers.

Next question, What abt hanging skin. I am 28yrs old but I would

be surprised it if all went back in place. Is this a real big prob? Is

there something besides surgery that will help? Anyone know?

I sat and talked to my bf tonight and we talked about his

concerns. Most of them will be answered when he reads the stuff Dr. R

requires. He did say he would miss my boobs. I laughed sooo hard. I told

him the flip side would be that I could find more sexy clothes to wear for

him. Silly man. He is being great abt this. He sd he cld get whatever

time needed from work to go with me. He said he would make a point this

weekend to read all the stuff I gave him and get started on the letter he

needs to write.

I tt my grandmother tonight as well. She doesnt want me to have

such a major surgery but said she understands why I want to. I was afraid

she would be supportive. She said I was like the Dallas Cowboys...she'd

stick by my side no matter how bad I got. GO GRANNY. I take her a copy of

the stuff she needs to read tomm at lunch and she will also start on her

letter this weekend.

I was concerned abt getting someplace to weigh and liked the idea

of the hospital loading docs. I called the doc office and the assistant

nurse told me to go to a feed store or a cattle farm! I mooed at her and

h.up! Prob not nice but she was snotty. Wanted to know why I just couldnt

use the scale in the office. When I told her she sd " My God " I will be

talking to the doc abt her. I was not pleased. I hope she is only a temp.

I have another appt next week with my doc to get started on the

pre-op work. I am hoping for a Oct date. This just seems right to me.
