Guest guest
I know for my next child, I am hoping the baby will not mind being in a sling for a lot of the time. Tummy time as much as possible even if the baby hates it. I tried all the aggressive repo therapies from two months onwards with my son currently in a band, so I realize a lot of the prevention isn't just during the day, but also how the baby sleeps at night. The repo didn't work that well. It may have prevented him from being severe though. From what I have read here, torticollis should be looked for. Obviously we know our pediatricians/GP's don't often spot it or think of it as a big deal, but if you see any inkling of it, try to get it addressed asap, or if you are comfortable, try the stretching exercises on the baby if you knew how to do it with your other baby. You know what to look for now, but it is still possible for it to happen again. Chances are it won't but there are people in this group who did everything they could to prevent it from happening again to another child, and it has. All the best! Hope your pregnancy is going well! > > Has anyone found something they use to help, I'd like to prevent from day one this time. My new daughter will be in a home daycare and the provider is commited to helping too, as we all saw my first Daughter strugle for so many months! > > Thanks in Advance! >
