Guest guest
Hi, I response to Andre' condition, my was a little different that his was since I only had one opening from my stomach into my intestines and I still do only have one opening. I guess I'm lucky that I don't have the vomiting problem that Andre' has. I just get very nauseated all lot of the times when I'm starting into or a full blown attack. I never vomit, I guess that makes me one of the lucky few who don't, as I really hate to do it. Sometimes, I think I would fell better if, I could do it, but I think I have a mental block against it. Sandy, there is a test that is called, I believe A Gastric Empty Study, where you can't eat or drink anything after midnight and the next morning your are schedule for the test where you have to eat the special fried egg sandwich, where the put some kind of a radio active ingredience- I think it called- into the sandwich and then they have you lay on this table and put a scan over you and it follow the egg through you to see how long it takes your stomach to empty. I believe my took about 2 1/2 hours, which the doctor said is within the normal range of time. The test does not hurt and the worse part of it was laying still that long and eat the egg sandwich, since I don't like to eat egg, except when they are into something else and not by themselves. I hope this helps. Take Care, Louie in WV
