Guest guest
There is also a book out called " Alive at 25 " it is a book about Andy Lipman a young man with CF. One of my sons friends, mother got this book for him. It is a good book about the things he went though. and if I am not mistaken i believe he is on this list. I think that i read in the book that he was. any way it is a good book. The thing that it has helped my sons friends and girlfriend realize just what he has to go thought each day for the rest of his life. It is a very well written book in my opinion and it is something that if my son was still in school I would make sure that his teachers and the principal and any one else in the school system read as i think that is the only way that they will ever understand what we as parents and our children go though on a daily bases. I do not know about the school in other areas but in ours if your not in a wheel chair or walking with a walker or special crutches your not ill they just do not understand how a child can look so good and be so sick. any way if you get a chance read Andy's book you will be glad that you did hugs Mother of DJ 17 yro m w/cf At 03:13 PM 7/19/2003, you wrote: >There is a new and up-dated (not as to outcome) of deFord's > " , the life of a child.
