I can tell you about my experience. I had the surgery in Oct 2002

and it worked for about three months. Then my CP started up again

and it was actually more frequent and worse. After about 8 months

of this they finally did another ERCP and found out the graft the

had made was completely gone. Now they are saying because of the

damage caused by this there is nothing else they can do for me. I

don't want to discourage you from this but wanted to let you know my

outcome so that you can talk to your doctor about this possibility.

if you find any information on this bypass, could you let me know? I saw

a surgeon last year about possible surgeries and she mentioned this but

I've never heard of it before. So if you do get anything I'd love for

you to pass it on.
