Guest guest
OK guys, I made liver pate for our iron deficient and anemic, celiac two year old with ASD problems...now how do I get her to eat it? Any ideas???. Since her set back/regression with rotatvirus, she is only able to eat intro foods and easy beginner easy to digest foods. She is very skeptical of new things! I thought she would love it...well you know how that goes...it looked different! I should know better than to assume anything with her. It always messes things up...today she may like it...who knows with her?? LOL! She is sooo tired...we need to do something. She is improving greatly, one week out of hospital today. Yet, she is sleeping 14 + hours in a 24 hour day. Our pediatrician will not give her B12 shots (which would help with iron metabolism and absorption.....and could be causing her to be so tired in the first place)...she says that she is too young! Can't see the DAN! (who would) for two more weeks....he can't work us in! Do I dare use the nasal B12 spray that I use????? Thank you, Antoinette (celiac) mom to Kiki-2 (celiac/autistic) 2/

Antoinette, Make a little pancake of a beaten egg and roll it up with the liver inside, like an egg roll. Cut it in small one inch pieces and see if she will eat it.Or hide it in a meat loaf or muffin mixture. Adding softened butter to liver pate makes it milder and very smooth. Carol F.
