Guest guest
Here is a simple suggestion for people here may belong to more than one list. Some people on other lists follow diets other than SCD and some are on SCD. SCD newcomers may be confused by posts about foods that are illegal on SCD but allowed on other diets. People on lists that deal with multiple and combined dietary interventions for autism may make suggestions that can confuse SCD newcomers. When SCD " newbies " see other SCD people are on the list they may assume the list can address SCD issues with authority. Often there is not sufficient opportunity to correct misleading information even that given in good faith. Owners and moderators of one such list were kind enough to put a few words on their home page directing SCD newcomers to the approved web sites Elaine Gottschall mentions in her book, " Breaking the Vicious Cycle " SCD followers who also belong to other groups, (especially newcomers) are urged to seek answers to SCD questions on one of the two recommended web sites www.breakingtheviciouscyle.info www.pecanbread.com or from our Yahoo support group: http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/pecanbread/ Carol Frilegh SCD 6 years
