Guest guest
My goodness what kind of scans do ya'll have over there. First Fliss' gi is earked that she had another an now ya'll have questions... I truly dont know of any side effects from repetitive scans. I have worked in hospitals a long time and we do have to wear badges that are checked every few months for levels of radiation. But that is for people who are exposed on a daily basis over a tremendous lenght of time. I dont know one person who has had to refrain from exposure because their badge read high levels of rad. When I was pregnant and my peers, we purposefully stayed away. Yet I know a lot of women who are xray techs and were pregnant and their kids are fine. Well as fine as a teenager can be. If it doesn't harm the unborn, I cant imagine it would harm an adult. At least I hope not; I have more scans the last 3 years then I can count, had one last thursday. Perhaps the teeth and hair loss is a nutritional side affect. When all this started, my hair turned bright orange and fell out. I was diagnosed with Kwahiorkor, that malnutrional disease those poor starving refugees get. It took a long time for them to figure out what this upper middle class, chubby, RN, southern belle had. I started taking protien and flaxseed oil caps and it helped a lot. Well short story long, if ya'lls scans are like ours I dont think that is what is causing the problem. I would lean more to nutrition. I hope ya'll have a lovely holiday. Sorry to ramble on and on... Warmly
