Guest guest
Vicky; my heart goes out to you and your husband. I am so very sorry that ya'll have had to go through such a difficult time. You are most definetly in my prayers. Heidi good luck with the US tomorrow; dont start worrying about surgery just yet; trust your heart, you'll know. You have an excellent GI who I am sure will not steer you wrong. Deanna I know a lot of people who have taken melatonin for sleep and think its great. I've never taken it; I like to sip tea and read a little. Fred you are a wonderful husband to take such thorough care of your wife. She is very fortunate to have you and to have had the 3 good years since the sphincteroplasty. You have gotten some good advice from so many on this board there is nothing I need to add except we're glad to have you and keep in touch. Tammy you certainly have had a scare feel free to discuss anything you wish. We all remember how difficult it was when we found out we were ill. My children were young when I was diagnosed, as many others here, and it is hard with a family. The stent pull went well today. None of my worse imaginings occurred...nothing is as bad as I imagine. I have a very sore throat and am very achey. The endoscopist really could not tell me much, He didn't stick around long enough to examine the sphincter or duct to see in there had been any inflamatory changes; he just " grabbed the stent and ran " ; his words and I cant say that I blame him...lol I'm not an easy patient. Jean 'sand " are pecan shortbread cookies that are rolled in XXXXsugar. I was informed today in no uncertain terms that Santa can NOT have store bought cookies; guess that means I have to make the magic reindeer food too; certainly cant give the reindeer store bought grains!!!
