Guest guest
I just wanted to thank everyone for their support and response to my venting! I printed several of them out, and Jim read them yesterday. I also wrote out some of my own thoughts for him to read. Mainly we decided that I we need to communicate better. He also re-iterated that NO MATTER WHAT he would never leave me. That he loves me, and his vows were for better and for worse. He is sometimes my only hope that things will get better. I don't know what I would do without him. Though sometimes I feel like at least if I was only screwing up my life, I wouldn't feel guilty for messing with his too. But you get the good with the bad. Donna, I just finished reading your message, and we have alot of similarities. Jim and I had alot more in common before I became sick. But I also had alot of interests that I pursued on my own. Biking, spinning, yoga, backpacking. Lots of outdoorsy stuff. Loosing all these things forced me to focus more on my marriage, which can be either good or bad. Sometimes I feel like I depend on Jim way too much for my support system. We talked yesterday, and he said I should talk more with my friends etc...that they would be supportive. I didn't get into that discussion with him, because I have tried that, and most of my " friends " still say, " you mean you're still sick? " You are know, been there, done that. Anyway, it really helped to receive all the messages over the past two days. THANKS EVERYONE! Robin R.
