Questions on posting my story

OK, OK last one... :)

My story is complete but I am a little leary to post it. Can

the insurance companies get ahold of these? I don't want to find my

story posted in some medical journal or be picked up by goodness

knows who. I don't mind sharing it with all of you but I don't know

much about computers and I just want to be sure it is secure. Did

notice a disclosure at end of e-mails that they can use our personal

information. What does that mean?

Thanks again

Hi ,

Members who choose to have their stories posted on the main PAI

website can opt for how much identifiying information they would like

included. Some folks just include their first name, last initial,

and state (or province or country). Others elect to include their e-

mail address, and still others include their full name, etc. It's

totally up to you - whatever you feel comfortable with. If you would

just like to have it say " W, Wisconsin " , and have no additional

identifying information, that would be fine.

CHeck out the other stories at

http://pancassociation.org/storieshome.html

to get a feel for what others have chosen to do, and then make your

own decision.

You can then send your story to either Karyn (karynwms@...) or

myself (tull3942@...), and we will take care of posting it to

the main PAI website, leaving just whatever identifying information

you choose to include.

Cheers,
