Guest guest
Tammy, Good for you ! You need to do what is best for you. I have been a nurse since 1975, ( yes, I know that I am old !), and no one will look after you like yourself. There are great doctors in this world and there are what I call " wanna be's " . Even the best doctors need reminded sometimes of things. So you keep looking until you are satisfied with your care and satified that your questions have been answered the best as possible. Just remain professional when you speak with your doctors and they will perk up and listen. Be informed and prepared with a list of questions. They don't mind lists of questions, the good ones don't mind at all. It is the wanna be doctors that get ticked about questions. Those are the docs to stay away from. keep us posted ! I have never been to Youngstown but I hear that it is a rough place,,, or should I say, people have been known to be found with cement boots in the river........ Gotta be a good swimmer there !( smile ) Lily to Lily I finally had it today. I really need to find out some answers because work, which has really stood behind me through all this, needs to know if I'm going to come back. I can't make the decision until I know a little more. I am also picking up my MRCP film tomorrow to take with me. Right after I read your post, I called the hospital and asked to pick it up. I also started the process of collecting my records today. Thanks for the nudge. By the way, I'm from Youngstown, Ohio.
