OK. I haven't given iel any fruit fruit except the ripe bananas for days

now, and he has slept soundly every night. I even gave him a few bites of

almond butter on Sunday, and no problems. Do you think it's safe to try nut

flour, or might that cause the same sleep issues that the raw fruits seem to?

If the timing for nut flour seems to be OK, I want to try to adapt some recipes.

I thought I'd start with scones since yogurt is commonly used as the liquid

anyway. Can anyone tell me what kind of substitution ratio is used for the

baking powder? I assume that I can just used more baking soda. Is that so, and

if yes, what's the ratio? If that not the way to do it, what does one use in

place of baking powder? Thanks.

In terms of nut flours, you might want to start with pecan or hazelnut (might

have to make your own).... as they are generally tolerated better to begin with.

I don't know the answer to your baking soda question. I have not tried adapting

non-SCD recipes.
