I remember watching my mother remove the needle from her finger a few times. Not a pretty sight. But she would just bandage it up and keep on going. I sure wish I had her talent. I use to have more when I was young. I use to make all the kids clothes. I really enjoyed it. Have never tried quilting and haven't sewed in years, should be interesting.
