Guest guest
Hello friends - Since starting SCD our sons stools have improved quite a bit, but aren't quite to normal consistency or frequency. As predicted by SCD, his stools have gone from mostly clayish masses to nearly formed logs, but with a little bit of mushiness. This isn't all together unexpected, as he is still getting small amounts of illegal carbs as we gradually bring him down off rice 'milk'. What I'm finding strange, however, is that we are down to about 1 stool every other day. Did anyone else experience a lessening in stool generation when starting on SCD? Luke was pretty much a one stool a day guy on GF/CF for the past year. His diet primarily includes: ripe bananas well cooked pears eggs a variety of meats such as bacon, chicken, steak, and turkey. He's eating a LOT of bananas, two a day probably, and I'd think that this would be enough to have him regular, at the least, but we aren't seeing it. We've also seen some significant cognitive (pointing) and fine motor improvements since starting SCD. (Yes!) Any insight is appreciated. brian __________________________________________________
