Guest guest
Hi all! I fell terrible asking for your help when I've been too sick to be on line for so long, but I know you'll all come thorugh for me. I've been having trouble with low O2 sats (called "oh-two sats" or oxygen levels in the blood). For some reason CPAP and BiPap seem to help and raise the oxygen levels for a day or two. I just got back from the hospital where I was in for respiratory distress relieved by a BiPap. My pulmonologist said she called a pulmonologist at Virginia Mason (yes, that's where Dr. Buckner is) who said he's not aware of the use of CPAP and/or BiPap in RP. So, she is reluctant to prescribe it. Now I know lots of you are on one or the other. Could you please let me know which you're on, why you were put on it and whether you had problems with the oxygen levels (O2 sats) in your blood. Thanks much in advance!
