You have just found the greatest group of people you will ever meet. They will all try to help you. Don't ever be afraid to ask anything. If they don't know the answer they will help you find it. Each of us is different and each of us uses a different combination of meds. No one med works the same for any of us. That is why RP is so unpredictable I guess. I have had RP for over 8 years and I lead a fairly normal life. I work a 40 hour a week job and take care of my family. Sure I have had to change the way I do things and until the meds kicked in I felt pretty rotten. But now on the whole I do pretty well. Most of my problems now are caused from the side effects of the meds I have taken. I still have flares but with the meds they are under control and don't bother me nearly as bad as when I was first diagnosed.
