Carol, thanks, you are always so encouraging. My voice has almost come back

to normal, but now my ear feels all filled with liquid. LOl Always something

huh? I have been trying to get ahold of my PCP, but it is Monday and the

lines are all busy, I'll keep trying. LOl

Thank you so much for your donation to the Foundation. It will be put to

good use. We post any thing new on the Foundation site so you will be the

first to know if there is any new research being done. I am hoping to get an

answer from the Dr in Stanford soon. Lets all keep our fingers crossed.

Thanks for your up beat attitude. We all appreciate it.

hugs

Carol, years ago, before I was dx I had a couple of

spells of swelling from behind my ear, down my neck.

It was excruciatingly painful especially to swallow

and eat, the docs didn't know what caused it, but now

I am prety sure it was RP. However, since my meds

have been pretty much stabilised I haven't had it.

Right now I have a tiny spot of inflammation on my

nostril - thank goodness it is tiny because it is

intense! If it was bigger I would be having a very

hard time!! Hopefully it will clear up by itself!

Feel better, love Liz
