Guest guest
From Rivka.....hope all is well From in ton. This is from in ton. There are also some post to your question on the top5plus5 forum.....Please let me know if this helps..hope you are well......Mark I have been on pancreatic enzymes for about 20+ years now & I am also on antibiotics more for upper respiratory infections, but what I do find helpful is taking acidophilus with the antibiotics so that you don't get yeast or bacterial overgrowth. I take Bacid, you can get it at the pharmacy, no prescription required, although it's more expensive than the antibiotic! I take one tablet with every antibiotic I take, if it's 3 per day, then 3 Bacid per day. Also everyone with chronic pancreatitis should be taking the good bacteria like yogurt or something like a chewable Acidophilus with bifidus to keep our intestinal flora up to snuff! It helps with flatulence as well as bacterial overgrowth & candida. Good luck I hope this helps, in ton
