Guest guest
Hi everyone. I haven't posted in the past few days, but I've been reading the posts and keeping up to date with everyone here. I think I've moved from denial to depression. At first in November I was so happy to get a partial diagnosis I thought I could beat this disease. I went back to work and got into my old routine. While I was maintaining some normalcy in my life, I stayed in denial and pretended I wasn't sick. Now I can't deny it anymore. Lately I can barely muster enough energy to raise my head from the pillow on the couch. I'm waiting to get the results from the MRCP, and trying to figure out what to do about work. I've told some of you that I'm an independent person and have worked full-time for more than 20 years. Even when I went through college, I held three part-time jobs and a full load of classes. Now I can't even read a book without feeling tired. I'm trying to enjoy the time at home, because after all, I'm still pulling a paycheck since I am on short-term disability, but I am having more difficulty doing that as each day goes on. Thanks for listening.
