At 2 weeks, you can start adding foods. Go for it. :)

Hi Debbie--

Congrats on your surgery--yahoooo! And bravo for sticking to juice &

broth for 2 weeks...I had the best of intentions of sticking to

liquids for 14 days, I really did...but I introduced soft foods

earlier, my body just wanted them, and I had no problems. For

example, I'd chew 2-3 bites of banana--into total MUSH before I

swallowed--but felt so good on my tummy! :)

Smoothies--I make mine with 1/2 banana, 1/4 cup frozen strawberries,

1/4 cup skim milk, a handful of ice cubes--AND one scoop of protein

powder--and they're SO GOOD! I thought I'd NEVER get any of that

protein powder in, I'm so picky about taste, but adding the

vanilla-flavored to fruit, it really makes a great shake!

Good luck--
