Glucometer etc.

Hi,

I'm using this to test my computer as I think it may be playing up a

bit.

I haven't used my glucometer yet....I'm ashamed to say I haven't

looked to see how it works. Mu New Year resolution is to do

so....tomorrow! So the " Fliss Factor " will probably mean being

absent-minded and forgetting or putting things off!!

Chrissy, you seem to be taking a good mix of antioxidants. The Antox

is a particular mix developed by Manchester Royal Infirmary a few

years ago. I know that Mark has info about it and that Heidi has

used it. Pharmanord, the company that produces it, is just starting

some more clinical trials. I know Newcastle is involved, and some

other hospitals, but not Liverpool. I know Liverpool is sceptical at

the moment about this therapy so perhaps that's why they didn't get

involved in the new trials. The Manchester ones were not regarded as

conclusive but several patients seem to have found them helpful.

Since this is a patchy illness, it's sometimes difficult to tell,

isn't it?

I have a certain type of delicious non-dairy ice dessert which I

love and eat most days. I'm going to add the cinnamon to the choc

version. Adding it to tea sounds great as well.

I do hope that you are able to go out this evening. I have had some

pain to-day...not sure why. We went for a lovely twilight walk

through the park....everything frosted white and sparkling. It was

freezing!! The pain spoilt it a bit. We're having a quiet eveing

anyway this year although at midnight neighbours often come in, or

we go to them, even if we haven't partied before! All the sirens in

the boats on the Mersey will go off and fireworks have also become

very popular of late.

Hope you feel well enough to celebrate.

Love,

Fliss
