Here are my son's results- I guess the protein is too low/ fat too high? Am I correct that you should increase protein to help heal the gut? He is 5 yrs old, 1 month, SCD since 4-17-06 43 inches tall 37 lbs (3 of these lbs since starting SCD) BMI of 14= 5th percentile in weight needs 1601 calories per day for 1 hr activity (rainy days) or 1830 calories for more active days Today's foods came to a total of 2010 calories Fat: 97 grams, 876 cals, 44% Carbs: 227 grams (29 of them fiber), 793 cals, 40% Protein: 80 grams, 319 cals, 16% He ate: Breakfast: Entire batch of waffles made with 2 eggs, 1 banana and 1 TBSP almond butter Snack: 1 banana, some pumpkin pie/pudding Lunch: 3 pcs applegate farms turkey bologna, pumpkin pie Snack: pumpkin pie, some spinach crackers Supper: few bites of lamb chop and green beans, applesauce, more spinach crackers and blueberry pie w/ almond flour crust (Grain-Free recipe) OK, fitday was SO much fun- I am officially hooked!
