I am in a quandry. It has been 6 weeks since my surgery and I am

supposed to be " pain free " well I'm not. Just the simple trip to

Walmart yesterday and I was in pain all night. I am supposed to

return to work on Monday. I dont know if I'm ready hence the q's:

1. Should I return to work monday or take a few extra weeks; maybe

I am a slow healer.

2. Should I ask for more demerol when I see the doc tomorrow; I'm

about out and no stash (Poncho).

3. If this surgery did not work should I persue the Whipple; as of

now the pain is much worse then prior to the surgery.

4. Speaking of whipple's; for those of you who have had the surgery

how would you rate the quality of your lives.

5. for those of you who have had the whipple do you take enzymes

and what happens if you dont take them.

I really dont think I am ready to go back to work but am worried

that if I did I would have more trouble; just bending over to tie my

shoes hurt. If I had known it was going to be like this I would

have waited until after the holidays it seems that a lot of people

will have to be happy with accepting gift certs. from me and my

family..

Any help that ya'll can offer would be appreciated.
