Chrissy,

Oh, I do hope that it isn't a pseudocyst, but if this is what has happened, it

wouldn't surprise me because of the increase in pain you've been having.

When the pseudocysts are growing they do cause so much more pain than

just the normal CP pain. That's one thing I know about.

I'm going in tomorrow for my review with Northrup about last week's

ultrasound of my two pseudocysts. I don't expect much news other than

verification of their size, and his review of arrangements he said he'd work on

for my genetic (CF and SPINK1) testing. I spent the afternoon making 6 cups

of candied pecans and walnuts and chocolate pretzels and cashews, and put

them all together in a divided Christmas decorated tin cannister. I'm going to

take this to the staff at my doctor's office, they are really a wonderful group

of

women, and I thought it would be a nice way to show my appreciation.

What day is your CT scan going to be? Did the doctor say why he's thinking

that you've developed a pseudocyst? Once you find out, please let me know.

The infection in my tooth seems to be going away, because finally this

afternoon the discomfort settled down to just a dull ache. I wish that meant I

could skip the root canal, but I know better, the pain would just return until

the

thing's taken care of on Friday morning. I expect it may mean an

uncomfortable day or two over the weekend, I just don't know. This is a first

for me.

I'll keep in touch, and will be saying some prayers that maybe your doctor's

wrong about this. I am glad, though, that you won't have to worry about work

until next year, because I really didn't think you felt up to it, and this way

you

can try to enjoy the holiday without that additional strain.

With hope and prayers,

Heidi
