Then I do not understand why someone serving in a 'moderator-type'

aspect would mention it all. There seems to be several inflammatory

posts lately from MANY quarters. Carol F. is comfortable with SCD as-

is (ain't-broke-don't-fix-it). Understandable if you find success

with it. There is no sarcasm intended with that, just observation.

> That's why I didn't bother to ask if I could join! lol I am one

of the reasons they left,

Since your last exchanges on this serve with both Summer and

had seemed pleasant, I do not understand why this " needs " to be

said. Of course they have not left if you all are 'talking' here,

lol. ;-)

Antoinette. Did you not JUST say several pages ago that you had

gotten a glimpse of why some people may need to look further (aeb:

your daughter's hospitalization)? Didn't YOU look further from GF

until you found SCD? What would you do should you need to move (even

more) forward at some point - refuse because Elaine isn't here to

okay it? Geez, would have happened to her daughter had she taken

status quo as her only option?

Since nobody really knows every little metabolic niche in their

own child's body (much less someone else's), do you not see that

this last remark could be construed as condscending? So why say it?

I would hazard a guess that there may be a myriad of ways

metabolic and gut dysfunction could play out for all sorts of

people. From adult female celiacs who like crusty spinach quiche to

little five year old boys who were developmentally advanced until

the age of three (my kiddo :-)

I am not trying to say " the diet " needs to be altered should it

work. And it does, for lots of people (just like GFCF etc does, for

lots of people). BUT NOT ALL.

And I can understand (and appreciate) that there be cohesion of

message on a board dedicated to a particular application. However

the flip to that is why shoot down something someone else does THAT

WORKS FOR THEM?

So can't we all PLEASE get back to diet and nutritional

applications? Hope little one is getting better on her home turf :-)
