Hi all-

I am confused about the rules about the use of pain relievers after

surgery. The only thing I read on the website was about stopping

before surgery due to aspirin types and anti-infammatory types

causing increased bleeding.

Then there was a post about a fairly new post-op taking a Tylenol 3 (

which I know are very strong), but the reaction from others gave me

the impression that we are not to take any over the counter pain meds

after surgery. Is this true? If so, is it just while are tummies

are healing or life time? I cannot even imagine life without

Ibuprofin. Also, my meds for neuropathy are pain relievers and i

would never sleep at all if I didn't have them.

Just a little nervous -

Laurie
