Guest guest
Hiya - thanks for your support. I'm in Canada - Ontario to be exact. Boxing Day, here, is the day after Christmas. It's reportedly the biggest shopping day of the year, as everyone rushes out to buy all the junk that wasn't sold for Christmas. I know - I don't really understand it myself. My choice for the day after Christmas is to sit around digesting! We have a severe doctor shortage here, and it is very difficult to get a new family physician. It is even harder to find a new doc if there is actually something wrong with you! I had an ultrasound several years ago, but as I recall it didn't show much. However, it was not done during a flare-up, but several weeks later, due to waiting times for tests here. I have never had a CT scan - but they now have a CT machine at our local hospital, so if I jump up and down and make some noise, I could probably get one done. I know how serious it is. I have lost as much as 20 lbs during a flare-up. The last year and a half have been so good for me, that I gained 40 lbs, and not regretted a bit of it. It looks like that might be coming off, though. And no - JL is not JayLo ! :-) JL > I am sorry you had such a rough holiday. We have all felt like that > a time or two.
