Same thing happen to us my son didn't qualify and if he did it was alson 1.00 a month but that would be a hassel with the income .I believe that a family a four is about 37 o 38 grands a year that sure depends on the state. The one in Lousiana is called LaChip and for a family of 5 its 43100.00 a year and thtas what we get and it covers all his meds. You might check it out for yiur state .This is fed.
