Guest guest
Stents never worked on me for a couple of reasons, but thats really not important. There are other options, you can give this a little time, and mean while look into outher resources. You have been given a lot of info from people who have gone to great lengths to receive the diagnosis and treatment the felt they needed. You have the computer and that could take you to tons of places. Try MUSC, that where I go and it has a wonderful team, a pancreatic team. I dont recall where you live but there are always other options. Many of those we learn about right here on this board. I would have been lost about so many things had I not gotten all the feedback I had. I still think it is normal for us to go through a whole gambit of emotions when dealing with this condition. There is not take a pill cure, or surgical treament that fixes all. This is an individual disease that many people have. There are similiarities among us yet at the same wide swinging differences, in our condition as well as the treatment options we have chosen. We all go through those emotions and deal with them differently, and its perfectly normal. I would just not want you to do anything that might cause further harm. I know, I have done it a time or two myself. Regretted it later; but 20/20 hinesight. I hope you have a Merry Christmas, and, Laurie,I do hope that you get your " hope " back. Its hard sometimes, but I always try to tell myself there are silver linings everywhere, just some are harder to see then others With love,
