Freezing green beans

I bought a bunch of green beans off a co-worker yesterday. We snapped and

cooked them

and the refrigerator is filled with green beans.

Today she brought in more. I couldn't resist. But what to do with them?

Freeze them raw?

Cook them, then freeze them? Someone at work suggested blanching (cooking for

just 2-3

minutes) and then freezing.

Advice. I never took home ec and I never realize until this diet how much I

needed it.
